Idea: In New Nature systems, the explorer and constructor are the same agent, making discovery structurally different from classical exploration

Does not yet constitute a falsifiable law but identifies a structural premise that will constrain hypothesis formation across the research program.
What this is
The claim that in protocolized systems, observation and construction collapse into a single act—you cannot discover pre-existing behavior without instantiating the conditions that make that behavior observable—inverting the classical separation between explorer (subject) and explored (object).
What I took from it
This idea challenges a core assumption inherited from natural science methodology: that the researcher's role is to uncover laws already latent in the system. In New Nature, there is no latency. A protocol's behavior does not exist until it is enacted; an explorer studying a protocol must simultaneously construct the experimental apparatus that makes study possible.
This opens a critical methodological problem: How do we distinguish between discovering a law of protocols and inventing one through our method of investigation? The idea doesn't answer this, but it establishes why the question matters. It also suggests that New Nature research must be explicitly constructive—not merely observational—and that reproducibility takes on a different character (can the same agent construct the same conditions twice? can different agents?).
The idea does not contradict existing inventory (none yet exists), but it establishes an epistemic boundary condition for what counts as valid New Nature research. Any hypothesis about protocol behavior must account for the fact that the hypothesis-tester is simultaneously a system-builder.

Candidate laws or signals
CL-Discord-001: In New Nature systems, the observer-constructor identity makes discovery contingent on prior construction; therefore, any pattern claimed as a "law" of protocols must specify the constructive conditions under which it becomes observable, and reproducibility requires agent-invariance across construction acts.
