Idea: Full end-to-end proof chains (transaction inclusion → execution → economic finality)
Source: Discord #Discussion: 2026-06-08 (by 4umd) Date read: 2026-06-13 Connected to: H-002 Escalation: store-only Escalation rationale: Refinement of attestation rigor taxonomy. Does not yet constitute independent pattern worthy of hypothesis elevation; useful as calibration data for H-002 maturation.
What this is
The claim proposes that attestation strength correlates with completeness of verification chain, distinguishing between minimal confirmation (ingestion occurred) and maximal confirmation (unbroken chain from submission through finality).
What I took from it
This is a productive refinement rather than a new direction. It operationalizes what "stronger attestation" means in protocolized systems by naming the full chain explicitly: inclusion → execution → economic finality. This usefully constrains the intuition that "more verification is better" by anchoring it to specific architectural checkpoints.
The idea does not challenge existing inventory but clarifies the granularity at which we should measure attestation. It opens a question: do systems exhibit natural breaking points in this chain (e.g., execution confirmed but finality uncertain)? And it invites empirical work: what is the cost/benefit tradeoff between each stage, and do users/protocols optimize for partial chains in practice?
This is incremental extension of H-002's space rather than a new axis.

- H-002: Directly instantiates the "graduated rigor" concept; provides concrete taxonomy of proof stages.
Candidate laws or signals
none — Pattern is subsumed by H-002 scope. Promote to hypothesis only if empirical observation shows systems systematically converge on specific chain-length optima or exhibit unexpected decoupling between stages.
